Late October is a great time. It is usually around 20 degrees and much quieter than summer. Here is a relaxed plan:
Day 1Alfama on foot, lunch at a tasca, sunset at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte
Day 2Day trip to Sintra by train, 40 minutes. Go early to beat the tour buses
Day 3LX Factory in the morning, pastries in Belém, dinner in Príncipe Real
