Our story

Two strangers, one very slow bus, and a lot of laughing since.

2019We met on the number 9Stuck in traffic for 40 minutes. Theo offered Amara half his sandwich.
2021First homeA tiny flat in Bristol with a big window and a very loud radiator.
2024Biscuit arrivesOur rescue dog, who will be walking down the aisle too.
2026The questionOn a windy hill in the Lake District. She said yes before he finished.

Everything happens at Hollins Barn, so once you arrive you can relax.

Long tables, speeches, lots of food

Live band, then a DJ until midnight

Hollins Barn, Lower Slad, GL6 7QE. Free parking on site. Nearest station is Stroud, 15 minutes by taxi.

We've held rooms at The Woolpack Inn and Stroud House Hotel until 1 March. Mention our names for the lower rate.

A minibus runs back to Stroud at 11pm and 12:15am. Taxis need booking well ahead.

Please reply by 1 April 2027 so we can tell the caterers.

Is there a dress code?

Summer smart. The ceremony is on grass, so maybe skip the stilettos.

Can we bring children?

We love your kids, but we're keeping the day adults only, apart from our nieces and nephews in the wedding party.

Do you have a gift list?

Your company is plenty. If you'd like to give something, we have a small honeymoon fund. Details are on the invite.
